Malin Ekroos – new Production Manager at Huddig
In November 2024, Malin Ekroos assumed the role of Production Manager at Huddig. She brings a solid background from the pulp and paper industry, where she spent the past 13 years in various roles within production. With extensive experience in team leadership and operational development, Malin has much to offer in her new position.
While at Holmen and Iggesunds Bruk, she held positions such as Technical Manager, Production Manager, Process and Quality Manager, and Site Manager.
"My previous roles focused on organizational development, production improvements, and strategic investments. There's something special about creating value as a team by delivering top-quality products," she says.
At Huddig, Malin is primarily responsible for leading the production and optimizing manufacturing processes. Her driving force is to develop the business and achieve shared success. She thrives on continuous improvement and enjoys fostering growth for the team and herself.
"I'm looking forward to ensuring that HUDDIG machines continue to be produced efficiently, safely, and with top quality. I'm passionate about driving operational growth and working together toward our goals while maintaining a fun and prestige-free environment," she shares.
Malin was drawn to Huddig due to its strong local presence and the opportunity to work with another world-class international product.

Malin has extensive experience of creating safe working environments, which she considers a fundamental element of a successful production setting.
"Working with safety is close to my heart. Safety has been a significant part of my previous roles, and it's a crucial building block in all aspects of work in a production environment. A strong safety culture leads to better quality and productivity."
Eager to deepen her knowledge of the industry and HUDDIG machines, Malin is also excited to get to know her new colleagues.
"I am looking forward to become part of the Huddig spirit and contribute to the company's development. Of course, learning more about this new industry and the machine itself is also incredibly exciting!" she concludes.
