Huddig's first backhoe loader hybrid HUDDIG TIGON equipped with machine control from Leica Geosystems
When Huddig's first backhoe loader hybrid HUDDIG 1260T enters the market, it is equipped with a 3D-machine control system from Leica Geosystems. All Huddigs backhoe loaders of the 1260 model can be equipped with machine control systems from Leica Geosystems. The systems have a common platform with similar menus and workflows in other applications where reporting takes place via the cloud solution Leica ConX.
“We are happy for the collaboration between Leica Geosystems and Huddig and the increased productivity that a system for machine control for HUDDIG machines entails. In collaboration with Leica, we have equipped our first customer delivered HUDDIG 1260T with machine control from Leica Geosystems. This will increase both the productivity and the precision of the machine”, says Daniel Myrgren, Marketing and Sales Manager, Huddig AB.
HUDDIG TIGON has been developed as an important contribution to the green transition for the construction industry. The electric hybrid is also quieter, has 30% more power and can be run entirely on electricity or fossil-free on HVO 100. With an excavation system, you can also further contribute to increased efficiency and reduced environmental impact.
Huddig has for several years worked for there to be a machine control for backhoe loaders as in many of today's constructions it is a prerequisite for efficient work. The challenge of developing a complete system for machine control for HUDDIG machines is to include both the digging unit and the loader in the system, as well as the swing boom and the elegant function that rotates the digging stick.
