Welcome Elin Fors, new Purchase Controller at Huddig

With seven years of experience as Purchase Controller at Åhlens Stockholm, Elin Fors now comes to Huddig in the same role. The choice to join Huddig was based on the company's high potential and the opportunities to operate in new markets in close cooperation with sales.

"It feels incredibly exciting to work in the construction industry and to have the privilege of working with such a strong brand as Huddig. I look forward to being part of the company's continued expansion journey and learning more about the industry."

In her role as purchasing controller at Åhlens, she worked in the fashion category with the company's own brands.

"As a purchaser, a willingness and ability to change is important. The industry I worked in during my previous employment was very purchasing-driven, with a clear set of requirements and goals. As a purchaser, one of my greatest strengths is collaborating with sales, as purchasing and sales go hand in hand, and I am driven by meeting set goals. Now, I take these experiences with me and apply them here."

What struck Elin when she started at Huddig was the familiar feeling in the company and the craftsmanship in building HUDDIG-machines from scratch, all under one roof.

"It fascinates me that HUDDIG machines are made, from sheet metal to finished machine, under this small roof and taken out into the big world. As a Hudiksvall resident, it makes me extra proud to be a small, large company with short decision-making paths, great flexibility, and, at the same time, operating in international markets. The company has tremendous competence, and I am happy to be on board."

She now looks forward to learning more about the industry and contributing her knowledge in close collaboration with her new colleagues.

"I feel warmly welcomed in the organization and appreciate the family atmosphere. It is important to be confident in your team to do a good job, so I look forward to contributing, learning, and growing here, Elin concludes."
