Lars Berglund and his family, among many others, are very involved in the sport, and he is an enthusiast in HMCK - Hudiksvalls Motorcykelklubb. This is the first year that the Youth Swedish Championship is held in Hudiksvall, and Lars is actively working for the Swedish Championship to occur here.

"Enduro is an opportunity for young people to train and have an active leisure time. It feels extremely exciting to work for our very first Youth Swedish Championship, which creates more opportunities for children and young people to develop their physical and personal skills through active and meaningful leisure time. Of course, we also want to host the Swedish Championship in the future." Lars says.

The competition occurs near Hudiksvall, where Hudiksvall municipality has actively supported the event by lending land for the competition. This is much appreciated as the Enduro Club in Hudiksvall is a non-profit organization, and sponsors are central to the club's ability to carry out the event. There is also an impressive commitment from the business community to support the non-profit club and ensure that the Youth Swedish Championship can be carried out.

"This commitment is a tribute to the sport, and its importance for people in Hudiksvall and the surrounding area is great. It is a community effort where several actors have stepped up. The municipality has helped with filling and parking. Local contractors like Sten Åkesson at Stens Spräng and Betong from Forsa have contributed by blasting large stones and many more has contributed" Lars continues.

Henrik Nyberg is one of the players who have contributed valuable to safety on the track. He is active as a HUDDIG driver and has been busy clearing bushes before the competition with his team. Bush clearing plays a crucial role in maintaining the high safety standards required for the event.

"Our job is to ensure the track is safe for the race. If a driver should end up off the track, nothing dangerous must be on the side of the road. Therefore, we create a clear view and remove dangerous objects on the side of the track. We are grateful to be part of enabling the Youth Championship, which is extremely important for us in the sport. The event greatly benefits young people's active leisure time and Hudiksvall." Henrik says.
