Paul will lead the implementation of Huddig's expansion plans, focusing on building the organization and accelerating its regional development.
"This marks an important step in our planned growth journey. Pauls' unique ability to bridge European culture with the American business mindset makes him a vital asset in reaching our goals," Håkan Bäckström, CEO of Huddig, says.
Paul has extensive experience establishing and scaling European companies in North America across various industries. In his previous role as CEO of A-Safe Inc., the U.S. division of a British company, he successfully led the business to exponential growth over seven years.
When asked about his decision to join Huddig, Paul cited the company's reputation for innovation and engineering excellence as critical motivators.
"I was looking for a new challenge," Paul explains. "Having previously worked for a Swedish company based in Hudiksvall, I've always appreciated the Swedish business culture and their world-class engineered products. Huddig intrigued me with its unique machines—unlike anything else on the market. It's both challenging and exciting to work with such a versatile and innovative product in North America."
Paul emphasizes the potential impact of Huddig's machines on the U.S. market, particularly in terms of versatility and efficiency.
"These state-of-the-art machines set a new industrial standard, offering unparalleled flexibility and utility. They help businesses increase efficiency through innovative applications, raising the bar in the industry."
As Huddig continues its growth journey, Paul is eager to lead the company in strengthening Huddig's presence in North America.
"I enjoy taking on challenges and nurturing growth. I look forward to helping Huddig reach new heights in this exciting market," Paul concludes.
